The same year Spijker brothers built a famous coach - "Golden State coach '- still in use today, to commemorate the forthcoming coronation of the Queen of Holland, Wilhelmina.

After the war Spyker resumed car production. Spyker has launched into the construction of models capable of beating all records. The most famous of these is the Spyker C4 that had a special motor, designed by the famous German engineer Wilhelm Maybach.

In 1921, a standard C4 (chassis No. C41, engine No. 3201) set a new distance record, traveling - without interruption - a distance of 30,000 kilometers in 36 days.
