Morgan Motor History
Morgan Motor Company is a British car manufacturer specialized in producing sports cars. The company was founded in 1910 by H.F.S. Morgan, an engineer of the Great Western Railway. In 1906 he resigned and bought a garage in Malvern Link in Worcestershire. There he went for the fun car, the first Morgan Runabout, which is already characterized by its very light (200kg). Having received encouraging comments, he began a small-scale production. In 1910 he started in racing. Until 1929, Morgan Motor Company produced only small cars with three wheels. In 1936 the company launched its first Four-oven (4 / 4), that is to say a vehicle with four wheels and four cylinders.
